Homeschool Resources
This page is for various resources I have compiled for our homeschool that I want to make available for others. Due to time limits, they are not always perfectly edited or polished, but as they are frequently asked for I wanted to make them more widely accessible. Additionally, as they often took many hours to compile, I hope that work will serve other families in addition to ours! Click on the title or the photo to open the resource.

At the end of summer, before school begins, we like to have an at home "summer camp." This PDF packet includes printables, a schedule, and notes for each day (including links to YouTube videos) to do a wilderness survival themed camp. Adjust for the ages of your children and the wildlife found where you live.
This packet of learning materials includes words and phrases, activities, songs, flashcards, and more all for learning Spanish around the theme of being outdoors.
*Please note: I am not fluent in Spanish, so there may include mistakes. I have long learned to not let fear of mistakes prevent us from attempting to learn a foreign language. Also, Spanish can vary widely by region.

Once a week we cut our school day in half to make room for "Curiosity Club" - a time for the kids to research a topic of their choosing. They study their chosen topic for three weeks and at the end must create something to share their new knowledge/skill with the rest of the family. I created this printable to help them keep track of their questions, ideas, and things they want to remember.
